Hey y’all! So I’m totally embarrassed that it’s been so long since the last time I posted. Things have been so hectic lately, by the time I even think about uploading a new blog post my brain hurts a little. No excuses, but that’s my legitimate excuse. I’m hoping I’m not the only one in the world who constantly brain farts when it comes to deciding what to make for dinner (and when I say constantly I really mean every. single. damn. night). I love to cook but sometimes I feel like I’m always making the same thing over and over again. Which is the case even tonight, when I decided to whip up some breakfast burritos. Even though I do make these often, we never seem to get tired of them. These are my oldest’s absolute FAVORITE (we will have to keep it a secret that I made these when she’s with her dad. She gets so butthurt if she finds out I made something she likes when she’s not home, lol). I serve these burritos with a creamy chipotle sauce nestled nicely inside to add just the perfect amount of heat (hubby’s fav). What are you making for dinner tonight? In my bio, I mention that I’ll be posting recipes, crafts, etc. and I haven’t posted much about crafting so I thought today I would! I recently purchased a Cricut Maker mainly because I love to make paper crafts, especially ones used for party decorating. Parties are so stressful, but making and putting up decorations for them has always been so much fun for me. My good friend’s daughter just had a Disney’s Coco themed birthday fiesta and I was lucky enough to help out a little bit with making it all cutesy!
Hey y’all! I’m totally feeling the midweek blues because I’m drowning in laundry and would much rather blog and make pretty birthday thangs than have to shuttle kids to and from school (ugly cry face). How great would it be if Friday came in the middle of the week and then we would still have Saturday and Sunday at the end? Kind of a mid-week break so we all feel like we have something to live for and can survive the rest of the week. Wishful thinking….
Anyways, lately I’ve been working on decorations for my baby’s 9th birthday party coming up in June. She is unicorn OBSESSED so naturally, she asked to have a unicorn themed birthday. I can’t wait to finish all the cute things I’m making so I can share with you all! Here’s a little sneak peak..
David and I have been trying to make some lifestyle changes to lose weight before summer officially kicks in. He’s been super motivated, coming home from work to change and go straight to the gym. I get annoyed and want to do the spoiled
girlfriend fiancé (still not use to saying it) pout to convince him to stay home because I miss him, but I’m happy to see that he feels great and is really trying to stick with the changes he’s making. I, however, am also fully capable of going to the same gym (which is less than 5 minutes from our house), but every second of my every day is already taken up by other obligations, for the next 16 years. Well, I’m sure I could find an hour every once in a while..or every day..to go but I honestly just don’t care for gyms. I get grossed out by them and quite frankly, I’d rather sweat like a pig and look/sound/act like I’m dying an agonizing death all by myself in the comfort of my own home. There’s an endless amount of different videos for all kinds of workouts on YouTube. Click here for one that I like to do often, upping the reps. Waist/booty workouts are my favorite, even though I should be concentrating on ab/arm/back workouts because those are my trouble areas. I have a hard time finding videos with upper body workouts that I like to do, so if you have any good ones, drop ’em below for me and I’ll let you know how it goes.
I like to set everything out before I start measuring so I don’t end up running back and forth between my cupboards and counters.
